I liked the easy to use website, good service and delivery. I was disappointed that so many items were out of stock and also that some of the items that were in stock were widely available at most supermarkets in the UK. I would have like to see more artisanal and local products to be included.

Birthday Blues. Took payment for next day delivery when they clearly couldn't do this.
Unfortunately, despite paying for next day delivery the hamper was delivered 4 days after ordering it. No tracking was provided and so I was only aware that my sister-in-law had not received her birthday gift on the day. There has been no offer of a refund for my next day payment - I doubt the company is even aware of just how late it was delivered. Really disappointed.

Great service & quality product.
Returning customer to Scottish Food & Hampers and I will definitely use again. On this occasion ordered the smoked salmon and champagne gift hamper, delivered on time, well packaged and was a real quality gift with good produce. Went down very well with the recipient.

High Quality Hampers.
There is a great choice of products in the hamper. Which itself is a nice wicker basket with leather straps, so it can be used after you've eaten and drank all the lovely products inside. Certainly worth the money and delivered really quickly just before Christmas.

The red gift boxes look amazing and come wrapped with a large white bow and everything was carefully packaged inside. I know this funnily enough, because the person we were sending our gift to had randomly sent us a hamper also from Scottish Food Hampers, which arrived at our home the very same day that they received their hamper from us! The beautiful red boxes look just perfect under the tree. Due to the postal strikes, Diane from customer service had contacted us to say that they were changing their delivery supplier to ensure that the goods (with perishable items) arrived at their destination on time, and the hamper even arrived one day earlier than they said, which was amazing. The recipient was delighted with their gift, as were we with our hamper from them! A big thanks to Diane from customer service, who was excellent and her help, fast email response and humour were very much appreciated, especially considering the challenging time that I am sure your customer service team were under due to the Royal Mail strikes and backlogs. Thank you so much indeed Diane! That was our very first order and we would have no hesitation in ordering from you again and recommending you to family and friends! Many thanks indeed!

I particularly like the fact that I can pick and choose exactly what I want to put in the hamper gifts I am creating. This is ideal for family and friends whose likes and dislikes are known. It also makes it seem more personal. I also like the fact that there is choice, but not too much! And for me the selection is perfect. Another fact that is much appreciated is that I can take my time ordering in November and choose a delivery date in December, rather than having to place all orders in December at the last minute. The only criticism I have is the website - it is not the easiest to use and when I add an item to the basket it appears to reload the page I am using in a different order so I have to double check to make sure I have not missed any items.

Perfect gift to cheer someone up
This was a present to cheer someone up. It’s often difficult to buy for male friends who are far away and so a little taste of Scotland was an ideal gift. The ordering process could not be simpler as billing and delivery address were different (can be an issue sometimes). The delivery was quick and efficient. The recipient was suitably cheered up,and is enjoying the contents very much.

This is the second time I have ordered during lockdown. I ordered by phone and found the lady I spoke to pleasant, helpful and clear - spoken. The process could perhaps have been a little more slick if the items had a code rather than just a verbal description, but I got the variety I was after. Today the hamper was delivered to a friend on the occasion of her birthday. The delivery arrangements were very efficient, and I was kept informed at all stages. From feedback after my first order I am confident the produce will be well received, and I anticipate using this company again.

Nice range of products and everything arrived safely and on time.
The website wasn’t very easy to use. I chose to make my own hamper, and it was difficult to add items. Every time I added one to the basket the webpage went back to the top of the list so I kept having to scroll down to where I get back to where I was. Also, the search function was poor. If I searched for cheese for example, only hampers containing cheese showed up, not individual cheeses

Fabulous gift for our mum, loads of treats for her to snack on over time. Sadly due to Covid-19 all the Tunnocks products were unavailable (typical as Tunnocks is her favourite!) We did manage to get hold of a few items to make up.
This was a very suitable 40th gift for a friend. There are other Scottish hampers but I went for yours because it had a wicker basket and wide variety of produce for the money.
Loved the range and the fact that you can select your own items to reflect each person’s tastes. Brought a big lockdown smile to the family who’d had to cancel their Scottish holiday because of Coronavirus. ????

It was great being able to choose the type and number of items (and therefore cost) and choose sustainable packaging. The website could do with a bit of tweaking because each time you add an item to your basket and click 'Continue Shopping' it always returns you to page one and not the last page you had visited. It can become quite frustrating if you are submitting a large order.

Delivery was diabolical. DPD vans broke down (but did not inform us); to failure to deliver because driver did not read instructions "leave with neighbour". Father's Day present finally arrived Thurs after Father Day and my father-in-law had to throw out the veggie haggis as it had been on the van too long. The only good thing was the customer service - they refunded the haggis & delivery

I've just had 3 hampers delivered to UK addresses from the USA. Simple point and click, 5 STARS price-range choice, and all items delivered perfectly - with photos of exactly where they were left ( after phone calls to check if people were in or where they'd like them left if out ). The only negative is that the Clootie dumpling was removed by USA customs advised that it contained raw egg. However, I confirmed with the company that this should not have been done and they have sent thousands of this product to the USA with no problems.

A nightmare trying to get mince pies and brandy butter shipped to Canada in November. Not only did I have to pay the customs fee which I was told was covered in the postage (and reimbursed by the seller), but I also had to call UPS in Canada, as did my family, on three separate occasions, to arrange the payment and redelivery.
Too expensive to do this again, although the products were excellent
